Dr. Roche has been with the Tarnow Center since January 2003. Dr. Roche also holds a faculty appointment in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine, where she participates in the education and supervision of clinical psychology interns. She has worked in outpatient, school, residential, and inpatient settings, and has over sixteen years of clinical experience working with individuals, groups, and families (ages 4 to adult) who have a wide range of presenting problems. Prior to joining the Tarnow Center for Self-Management SM, Dr. Roche was a Clinical Psychologist at ADAPT Counseling and an Instructor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, and held additional faculty appointments at Baylor College of Medicine and Sam Houston State University. In addition to her broad clinical focus, Dr. Roche's work focuses on issues of parenting, family transitions, adolescence, the evaluation and treatment of problems related to ADHD, and trauma. She has been published in a number of journals, including The Journal of Interpersonal Violence, The Journal of Divorce and Remarriage, and Child Maltreatment, trains other professionals, and has lectured on the national level. Dr. Roche is a member of the American Psychological association and the Texas Psychological Association. |
